This position will support Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) internationally, but primarily cover the US East Coast region during normal business hours. After hours on-call support on a rotational basis with other teammates will also be expected as part of the role.
The position will be responsible for the configuration, trouble-shooting, and ongoing support of Physical Access Security incidents, problems, issues and endpoint devices. The person in this role will be "hands on" working tasks from the BAU and support queue, but will also assist in the assignment of project and BAU resources to project tasks and BAU work items to ensure that progress is tracked and that the work is completed on-time, within all applicable SLA timeframes.
The person in this role will also be responsible for ensuring that team processes are documented and that documentation is kept up to date. This person will be a key participant in change management activities such as vendor software upgrades, software bundling and distribution, firmware patch management, and Business Continuity and Failover testing.
5+ years of systems support analysis experience
6+ years of Large scale networked smart card technology systems for physical access control experience
4+ years of Incident Management System experience
Knowledge and understanding of large scale networked physical access control systems administration
Knowledge and understanding of large scale networked smart card technology systems for physical access control
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
